EZ BOUNDBOOK

EZ Boundbook is a set of programs that will keep your firearms log (bound book) on a P.C.  

Simple and complete is the best way to describe this software.  It captures all of the information that the BATFE requires you to store, plus some.   An easy to use screen will allow you to look up a firearm by your choice of tracking number, 4473, invoice number, serial number, inventory item or customer name.  All of the information is right there on your screen.  When a print out is necessary you can use the report generator and in a few seconds create a report based on your selection criteria, sorted the way you want it and printed in either a one-line of full detail format.  An in-stock report requires 3 clicks and can start printing in less time than it takes a BATFE auditor to ask for it.

Once installed, you will be able to make a BoundBook entry in less than a minute! No more handwritten pages with abbreviated names, part numbers, and addresses! No more fear of a surprise visit from the ATF. Computer Printed Firearms logs are clear and concise eliminating much of the confusion associated with handwritten ones. The benefits of a computerized bound book include ease of creation, uniform readable information, very little training, simple and fast lookup and reporting just like you and the ATF want it.

Your employees will have the information you want and need and you will reduce the amount of time necessary to provide information requested by the BATF by 90%. Computer requirements are easy.  Any P.C. that is running Windows XP or Windows 2000 and has internet access will work.  For the safety of your data and you will want to update your computer with the most current updates from Microsoft.  You will also want to get the newest updates for the Microsoft .NET framework.  All of these updates are available free from Microsoft!  Our recommended configuration is a reasonably current pc (for reliability) running Windows XP (service pack 2 for pop-up and spyware protection) with a laser printer (permanent print), CD burner (for backups) and a fast connection with the Internet (so we can easily support you and provide you with fast easy updates).

Backup is not only a good idea, but it is part of the BATFE requirements. All of your data will fit on a single CD.  We highly suggest that you make a copy of your EZ Boundbook daily.  As part of our support package, CBSI will store a copy of your data securely off site on our backup server.  A simple click of your mouse will copy your data into a compress file and start it on it's way over the internet.  This will provide you with an off-site backup should your computers data be destroyed.  In case of a fire, virus, sabotage or theft, we will send you a copy of the EZ Boundbook software programs and your latest backup upon receipt of both written and verbal verification.  We require both written and verbal identification because we know that this data is private and sensitive.

Updates can be downloaded at your convenience from our web site.  90 days of update service and support are included in the price.

Support is provided by email and phone or remote control assistance for 90 days with purchase of EZ BoundBook.  We know that support is the name of every business.  When you have a special situation or the BATFE comes knocking, you want to know that there is someone to answer your questions.  In addition, in this time of heighten security and scrutiny, you will want your software updated with whatever new requirements that the government comes up with.  As these requirements are added, you can be sure that we will update our software.  Support after the first 90 days, including software updates and new releases, off site backup, phone calls and email will cost $100 per year.
